eBooks are part of digital life and now-a-days people love to read only eBooks instead of a hard book. There are great advantages of an eBook like: easy to access, download, share, quickly refer etc.
On the other side, when you see it from the business perspective (i mean as an Internet marketer) you can make a lot of money by selling eBooks. It is not like all eBooks are profitable, it depends on the topic, your audience and more important: the purpose of the eBook.
Long back, we discussed in another article on how to write money making eBooks ? and today, i want to put this process simpler in writing your new eBook which makes you profits for the long run.
Focus eBook Topic First
Before writing an eBook, a writer must first list down the topics that caught his or her interests. Then narrow it down by eliminating topics that are less interesting than the rest until only one topic is left. Gathering of data must be given a longer time than the rest of the process since all data gathered must be true and exact to the point.
When it comes to business, you have to look for the “demand”. In the case of writing an eBook, see whether there is a demand in market so that you will get good number of audience. Otherwise, only you and your circle will read your eBook – not really the audience.
Simply, pick a demanding topic for your eBook and also, you must have expertise to serve the audience.
Define What Problem Your eBook Solves
Usually eBook is meant to give the readers a hint or tip on, how to solve a certain problem step by step.
A friendly tone should be taken into consideration as well as being convincing since you are there not to just give a tip but also to help reader and gain their trust in your guide.
Make it precise and clear as to, what problem you are solving so as not to confuse your readers.
Every business is driven by this basic fact: “solve user problems”. When you are doing a business to make money, you will fail. At the same time, when you are doing a business to solve real problems, you will win – definitely.
Like demanding topic, identify the list of problems in that market. See, for what kind of problem people will be ready to pay. Address such problems in your eBook so that you can make lot of profits as you will get lot of buyers.
Simply, identify hot problems which requires immediate solution.
Give Practical Examples
While readers read your book, there are some facts you have to explain in a deeper manner to avoid confusion. You and the reader have different ways of explaining things and he or she may not get the idea of your explanation. To ease their way, an example can be of great help.
Whenever you think that your explanation is beyond the readers comprehension, give an example and you will see that they will get what you are trying to tell them.
This also shows that you are an expert in the market and you are more caring for the reader.
Naturally, this builds Trust between you and the readers which helps you for the long run.
Tomorrow, if you release a new eBook, you will get those same audience who trust you – hence more profits ![]()
Importance of Great “Title”
An eBook may be helpful to most of the readers out there seeking a guide or tips or rather tricks but when searching, people tend to be more straight to the point and always look for a direct title.
Make your title noticeable though make it also as simple as you can.
For example, when I want someone to read my guide on Internet marketing then I think I will make my title as: “Key to Internet Marketing Success in x Days”.
You see now how simple a title can be that acts as a charm to readers seeking answers. Try it out guys, have a list of titles and narrow it down when you are thinking of the title for your eBook. Be Creative.
Read this about.com article on eBook title ideas.
Number of Pages (keep It Reasonable)
Your eBook doesn’t have to be ranging from 100 to 1000′s of pages. Be reasonable in your number of pages.
Do you think it is good to have over 500 pages, if your topic is about playing a simple game ?
Hope you get my point there. Never put too much words or make your guide longer. It is better to make it straight to the point so that readers can understand it better but keep in mind to explain things well.
Focus towards conveying the message clearly, it naturally goes to the right count of page numbers.
Fix Best Price, How Much Money To Make ?
Now that you are done with your eBook, you will now think of how much you are going to sell it. Before putting a price, calculate of all the things you spent for your eBook as well as time consumed and resources.
It is not so bad to earn little, if you are going to sell a million copies. Be reasonable in your price and make sure that readers seeking help can afford to purchase on of your eBook.
- Simply, see how similar eBooks are getting sold in the market – based on that fix your price. You must also have a sale target based on the money you spend for it.
Finally, writing your new eBook (as a business) requires proper planning. The market or eBook topic, the problem that you address in your eBook, the demand for such problem decides the success of your eBook.

Thanks.
